Speak to your financial institution or your independent finance broker to determine your equity and outstanding financial commitments.

Tidy up around the home, inside and out and de-clutter. Address minor maintenance issues.

Presentation - you only get 1 chance to make a great 1st impression.

Contact us, John Reid Real Estate - your local agents to arrange an appraisal/local property report and market price trends for area. Our experienced agents with expert local knowledge, will help guide you through the process and help you determine a marketing strategy to achieve the ‘best price’. We will also inform you of what to expect throughout the marketing campaign, answer question you may have and recommend related services you may need to assist with the sale. We can also assist you in finding your new home and will discuss this with you.

The Process

Select your Sales Agent from our team of area specialists.

Sign an agency agreement; this enlists the agent for generally a 90-day period.

With your agent, select a marketing campaign to give the property reasonable exposure to the relevant buyers

Photography, editorial, floor plans and introduction to marketing team

Marketing commences

Internet, agency window cards, brochures, existing buyer database contacted

Prepare your home for inspections

Inspections commence

Your John Reid Real Estate agent will report to you after every inspection and discuss feedback with you.

Your agent will discuss with you the process leading to a successful sale/settlement so you can know what to expect and help you through it.
