A GUIDE TO RENTING

Determine what you can afford and what type of property will satisfy your needs. Consider how long you’ll want to live in the property, the lease term available- generally 6 or 12 months.

Do you have any pets? Some landlords will allow pets and usually this is advertised with the property. Once you have established your ideal, shortlist the properties suitable and make appointment times to view these properties.

It’s important to make sure you make a good first impression - turn up to the appointment on time and have a clean and tidy appearance.

When you have selected the property that suits you, an application form must be completed. We recommend you do this as soon as possible as properties lease quickly. Make sure the application is completed fully and that all references can be checked. This will speed up the application process. Please ensure you have copies of all necessary documents to accompany your application.

If you are successful with your application, you will be asked to sign lease documents and within 24 hours upon verbal approval, pay one weeks rent to secure the property. You will be required to pay the second(2nd) weeks rent plus four weeks (as bond ) upon collection of keys.
